TomTom XXL540S has another good feature in our view. This is IQ Routes Technology which is used to help drivers in determining the optimal way to their destination. Its main differentiator from other similar technologies is that it can re-calculate your route based on how fast you go. In other word, it self adjusts while on the go.
Another improvement of TomTom XXL540S over prior models is its capability to customize maps within the device. You can modify street names, road speed, POI, and other road related information. However, we are not clear on whether any follow up update will erase your customization or not. This has to be tested with our Lab.
