......... In theory alone, a GPS navigator and marine chartplotter with a 10.4” (diagonal) sunlight-readable screen is a very good idea. In practice, it’s even better. The Lowrance GlobalMap® 7500C delivers GPS maps with such brilliance and clarity of detail that may set a new standard for visibility in its class. Eye strain and fatigue are a thing of the past when you navigate using the 7500C. Better yet, this GlobalMap® GPS device incorporates Lowrance innovation and reliability in a rugged and waterproof GPS navigator and charplotter that meets all expectations of performance. All of the most important features are here, from a WAAS-enabled GPS receiver boasting 12 parallel channel reception, an array of built in background maps that let you get around on the land and waterways in and around the continental U.S. and Hawaii, as well as massive processing power and quick screen updates. The 7500C is compatible with MapCreate software that allows you to create custom maps, and supports a variety of other GPS map products, so you’ll have your bearings even when you’re far away from home. Other attractive features include 1,000 waypoints, 1,000 event markers, and 100 saveable plot trails with up to 10,000 points per trail. Again, we’ve never seen a screen as clear and readable, and while the screen size is reflected in the price, considering the power and features Lowrance has packed into the GlobalMap® 7500C, chances are you won’t be disappointed. The 7300C HD is NMEA complaint.
