Desription .........  As Lowrance begins to set the GPS navigation and Marine Chartplotter marketplace on alert by offering state-of-the-art devices featuring super-sized 10.4” screens, we think other manufacturers will join the fray by offering larger screen GPS products as well. The Lowrance GlobalMap® 9300C HD offers all of the user friendliness that’s come to be associated with the Lowrance name, along with tons of features and map and chart compatibility that add up to a very convenient and powerful GPS navigation experience on land or at sea. From NMEA network capabilities to compatibility with the widest range of charts and maps possible, the GlobalMap® 9300C HD is equipped to meet the needs of the most demanding seafarers and landlubbers. The 30GB hard drive holds tons of background charts and maps, including most waterways and coastal charts in and around the continental U.S. and Hawaii in rich vivid detail (with contour data included). In addition, the hard drive stores your waypoints and event markers (up to 1,000 each) along with 100 routes (of up to 100 waypoints each.) Even more impressive is the fact that the 9300C HD GPS navigator and chartplotter allows you to store up to 100 retraceable plot trails with up to 10,000 plot points each. Additional niceties like 37 zoom ranges and graphic icons to designate key locations add to the brilliance of the 9300C HD. Optional plug and play charts and maps that are compatible with this fine Lowrance GPS device include: Lowrance FreedomMaps, LakeMaster ProMaps, Fishing HotSpots PRO, Coastal and International Maps from NauticPath, and more. Each of these GPS map and charting products feature stunning detail and clarity that’s fully emphasized by the 9300’s more than ample SolarMax TFT SVGA screen. And lest we forget, the GlobalMap® 9300C HD is features a rugged waterproof case, WAAS enabled GPS reception, and ships with a LGC-3000 GPS antenna that makes it possible to use the device in radar, video and weather info display modes. Despite a price that sets the GlobalMap® 9300C HD GPS Navigator apart from the rest, we think its formidable array of features more than makes up for it.
