It is easy to use, user friendly : I admit I did not buy the Garmin c510 it was a promotion I recieved when I bought several Garmin aviation GPS units for a few airplanes. I have never owned a Lraod type GPS before. I have to say I was very impressed. It is easy to use, user friendly. The screen is easy to read and can be read at many angles, glare did not seem to be a problem. It converts text to speech , and I have nicknamed my GPS "Betty" Betty gives accurate directions and is clear and concise to understand. It is a little difficult to type on the screen, the buttons are a little small but there is a function to save frequently used addresses. All in all I think it is a great little GPS, regardless of what you spend for it, and th GArmin name is "The Name" in GPA systems.
