Chartplotting and GPS Navigation in full color doesn’t get much better than the Lowrance GlobalMap® 6500C, a device that’s fitted with a 12-parallel channel WAAS enabled antenna and a brilliant 7” screen that provides highly detailed maps quickly, along with high speed screen updates that keep you in the know on waterways in and around the continental U.S. and Hawaii, thanks to the ample and comprehensive built-in background maps. The 6500C ships with an external LGC-2000 antenna that pulls down highly accurate and reliable satellite data, for smooth sailing close to shore, or far out between the tides. Zoomable maps are a plus, with 37 ranges in all, from .05 miles to 4,000 miles. With Lowrance’s user-friendly interface, navigation is easy using the many ways to record your travels and save your routes, waypoints and trails. The 6500C is compatible with Lowrance GPS maps, HotMaps and Navionics Gold Charts for coastal waters and the Great Lakes, and in addition to the LGC-2000 antenna, it ships with mounting hardware and a power cable.
