The Garmin GTM 10™ FM TMC Receiver accepts navigation data from FM broadcast stations in selected metropolitan areas throughout the U.S. and Europe, while the C340’s WASS Enabled 12 parallel channel GPS Receiver receives constantly updated data from Satellites to provide accuracy at better than 15 meters 95% of the time. The Garmin StreetPilot C340 GPS Navigator provides turn-by-turn “text to speech” instructions, along with traffic alerts and audio and visual navigation. Like other superior Garmin GPS Navigation Devices, the StreetPilot C340 features 2D and 3D mapping and easy mounting, along with a USB interface and SD card slot that allow you to add to the preloaded detailed U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico maps. Drivers love the StreetPilot C340’s proximity alerts for school zones and safety cameras that can be added using Garmin’s POI loader program. The StreetPilot C340’s built-in patch antenna and MCX Type Connector (that allows the addition of an optional, external antenna) ensure smooth reception of GPS satellite data, wherever your travels lead you.
