......... Getting highly accurate GPS data wherever you go is effortless with the WayPoint 205 GPS Receiver: this powerful pocket-sized computer with a 3.5 touch screen combines the power of a 400 Mhz processor with global positioning satellite capabilities that you’ll come to rely on. The Navteq U.S. and Canadian Maps make it easy to get where you going, along with the WP 205’s turn-by-turn voice instructions and two million points of interest (POI’s). The SiRF-powered GPS chip make the WayPoint 250 an ideal first choice for hiking, driving, cycling – helping you plan your route and keeping you close to the beaten path. And with the free one year TrafficWatch and WeatherUnderground subscription it’s easy to stay on top of road and weather conditions. And these features are just the beginning of the WP 205’s power: in pocket PC mode, you’ll have the power to run Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 Premium Edition and programs like MS Word, Excel reader, a voice recorder, Contact, and Calendar. The robust Intel Xscale PXA 260 400 Mhz processor gives the WP 205 enough power to handle routine business and office-related tasks while you’re on the go. The Mobile Crossing WayPoint 205 is truly the Swiss Army knife of Pocket PCs, with an array of convenient GPS and computing features, and the processing power to back it up.

Nice addition to my organizers :
I like this product for two main reasons, its light, not like clunky GPS devices, and it has power of PDA..

GPS with quirkiness :
This is one queer GPS device I have had this device for over 6 months and it has done fine work. This is a system full of paradoxes, the map loader really crawls it takes ages to set up your system but one it is done you will realize that it is time well spent. Once done you get very fast, precise routing in addition to the pleasant voice prompts and automatic rerouting. You will have to get a new memory card; the one that comes with the set is small. It is kind of a pocket PC and is easily movable from car to car.
So of the weakness the box contents take a lot of sorting out and not very easy to figure out especially for a newbie, look at the Quick Start guide it does help. The second and more worrying aspect is that the unit my unit will not sync with Vista. It appear that the vista drivers are still unavailable for this device and Mobile Crossing Forum has no answers as of yet. A nice GPS device for some willing to adjust to its quirkiness.

I used to have it :
It was nice device for its time. I did not have regrets having it. Noce maps and good directional features.
