Because it’s lighter than many watches, there’s no strain on your wrist; because it’s so fun and easy to use, taking advantage of its many features is easy. With the ForeTrex™ 201’s TracBack feature, getting back to your starting point is as simple as following a dotted trail on the grayscale dotted screen. Save locations as waypoints – as many as 500 – and keep track of your journey with the user-friendly trip computer. Garmin has designed the Foretrex™ 201 for use in sailing competitions as well, with start sequence computers and a host of other features that are easy to use by virtue of a few operating buttons. The 15-hour battery life is a nice touch (using a lithium Ion battery), keeping you on track throughout a long day of outdoor activities.
