......... When it comes to navigating the world’s waterways, the GlobalMap® 5300C iGPS is equipped to provide up-to-the-second chartplotting data and precision GPS guidance. Featuring a WAAS-enabled 12-parallel channel GPS receiver, the GlobalMap® 5300 iGPS is not only stunningly reliable, its 5” SolarMax display provides visual information rated for secondary use as a radar display (the 5300C is Lowrance radar compatible). The 5300C comes loaded with an array of maps, including a built-in enhanced background map of the entire continental United States (as well as Hawaii) that features more than 3,000 lakes (depth contour data is included.) Which brings us to another issue: Lowrance has equipped the GlobalMap® 5300C iGPS for use on the world’s roadways as well – and with the array of compatible Lowrance maps, the possibilities are almost endless. Compatible maps include: Fishing Hot Spots® PRO, Lake Master® PRO Maps, FreedomMaps™, as well as electronic charts from NauticPath™ and Navionics®. You’ll have the advantage of 1,000 waypoints, 1,000 event markers, and 100 routes, 40 map zoom ranges from .02 miles to up to 40,000, and Lowrance’s top notch user friendly interface that has made a believer of countless GPS users around the globe.
