Desription .........  Leave it to the brilliant engineers at Lowrance to come up with a powerful and easy to use GPS navigator for hunters that incorporates the tried-and-true features that made other Lowrance GPS devices so successful. The iFinder® Hunt is rugged and reliable, even waterproof up to IPX7 standards. Better yet, it’s easy to use, allowing first time GPS navigators to get the hang of marking their game signs, tree stands and vehicle positions, as well as compiling extensive waypoint data (up to 2,000), event markers (up to 1,000), and plot trails (up to 100, with an impressive 10,000 points each.) For hunters who venture far off of the beaten path, finding your way back, or returning to a favorite campsite at a later date is virtually guaranteed, especially in light of the fact that the two AA batteries allow the Lowrance iFINDER® Hunt to operate for 12 hours or more. Another nice feature is the ability to add voice notes to your recorded routes and trails. The 3” diagonal display is more than adequate, and we’re glad to see that Lowrance has implemented WAAS GPS reception, along with a port allowing for an external antenna to be added if necessary. 40 zoom ranges let you choose you perspective from .02 to 4,000 miles, while 42 graphic icons and additional hunting icons let you label your favorite campsites and hunting locations, rest stops, favorite restaurants, etc. The iFINDER® Hunt is compatible with a wide range of maps and charts from Lowrance and other GPS map providers – so you’ll never have to guess where the best fishing hot spot is, or which route through the Ozarks is quickest. The built in background maps of the continental U.S. and Hawaii may be suitable for your basic GPS navigation needs. If not, check out the many compatible maps, along with the Optional Mapping Accessories pack, featuring MapCreate™ USA Topo Mapping Software, a digital SD/MMC card reader/writer for USB connectivity, and an SD/MMC memory card.
